Infectiously energetic, empowering and badass are some of the words used to describe the dynamic melodic alternative pop/rock force, ‘REWS’, helmed by the multi-instrumentalist, Northern Irish songstress, Shauna Tohill and a revolving cast of musical friends. With a sound that blends driving guitar riffs, soaring vocals, and irresistible hooks, REWS exploded onto the international live circuit in 2017 with debut album "Pyro," released via Marshall Records.

The release of "Pyro," led to a series of critically acclaimed performances at major festivals, including Glastonbury Festival (John Peel Stage), Isle of Wight Festival and Boardmasters. REWS has since toured extensively across the UK, Europe, and the US, earning a reputation as a must-see live act and landing support slots for artists like Halestorm, The Darkness and Therapy?, as well as appearances at Mad Cool Festival (Spain), Camden Rocks (UK), Music China (Shanghai), NAMM, ‘She Rocks’ Awards (Los Angeles) and Eurosonic (Netherlands) and was nominated for Planet Rock Magazines ‘Best New Band’.

2020 saw the release of the highly anticipated sophomore album Warriors, received with relief during the global pandemic. This release solidified several high profile UK festival slots including 2000 Trees and Y Not Festival. Singles from Warriors including Birdsong', ‘Monsters’, 'Heart Is On Fire & Today We’re Warriors, gained international praise on radio, TV and online, including an addition to several editorial playlists such as Fierce Femmes on Spotify and to top it off, have soundtracked numerous sporting events across the UK including Women’s Cricket on day-time BBC TV.

To date, REWS has amassed over 10 million streams and her music is continually championed by a number of international DJs, with great taste, on BBC Radio 1, Kerrang! Radio, Radio X (UK), RTÉ 1 (Ireland), Amazing Radio (UK & USA), InterFM** (Japan) and Radio Freccia (Italy). Latest singles Breathe Into Me, "Pretty Face", "The World That You Left Behind" and Misery, released via Earache Records DD have gained extensive support from Kerrang! Radio, Amazing Radio, BBC Radio 1 and RTÉ.

Hot off the heels releasing third album *"Meridians", *REWS have just jumped off tour supporting the awesome Black Stone Cherry in UK and Ireland and have been championed by Kerrang!, Radio 1, RTE and recently featured on the Irish TV programme "Fanning at Whealans". This marks another exciting chapter in REWS' already impressive career. REWS has consistently delivered catchy, high-energy music with a message, and "MERIDIANS" takes this to another level. Shauna is now working on new material for future release!
